Depends on what its for:
Music video- dress the part, nothing too slutty, but keep it tight. If you have a rockin’ body let the good parts show.
University- black jazz pants, jazz shoes, and a leotard underneath (not black leotard chose a color)
Company- leotard & tights, nothing baggie, jazz shoes

When I danced and auditioned I was told to wear tights, bodysuit and appropriate dance shoes. However, add something that will make you stand out from the rest of the crowd.
For Example: a bobysuit that is brightly coloured (I had one that was a cool gold, green, black combo) or bright coloured earinngs or a bright belt etc.
Don’t over do it though, keep it simple but choose something that will help you stand out.

Somthing that expresses you: maybe a cute shirt or belly shirt that says “dancer” and then black jazz pants. Or A cute top “dance related” with dance shorts that has dancer on the back with jazz tights. leotortard with pants ect. Of course black jazz shoes.Or a tank top with some pants. What expresses you to win and stand out good luck..

Try tan or pink tights. A nice leotard over top. Black is simple and worn for ballet, but a colorful one is fun and looks nice to. Black jazz pants that fit tight could be worn over. Hav you hair in a high pony, all pulled back nicely and no flyaways. Clean black jazz shoes also! It depends on dress code, but for an audition just wear as suggested maybe. Also, maybe not wear the jazz pants. It is easier to move and for the teacher to see your legs without them, but if you don’t feel comfortable and feel bare, add the pants-and they look cute too. Just don’t wear clothes that don’t fit right. They’ll be uncomfortable and bother you the whole time. Good luck with your outfit and audition!
